We are at the beginning of the most decisive decade in our lifetimes. What we do in the next 10 years will set the course for our net-zero future.
To meet the moment, we're thrilled to present Destination Net Zero Events—a three-event series culminating in GLOBE Forum 2022, the largest and longest-running sustainability conference in North America.
These events will not only bring together an unparalleled community of sustainability leaders and practitioners, they will empower you to move from ambition to action. We all know WHY we need to build a net-zero future. Together, we’ll uncover HOW we get there.
We’re embedding action and accountability into these events with the 10x10: 10 actions in 10 years we need to take to get to net zero. Working with participants during and after each event, we will specify the what, the how, the who, and the when.
Join us at one or all our Destination Net Zero Events to be part of the community that is charting the course to net zero in Canada.

ENERGY AND TRANSPORTATION DAYS
Oct 26-27, 2021| Recordings available on November 25 | Complimentary
We’re embedding action and accountability into our Destination Net Zero events with the 10x10: 10 actions in 10 years we need to take to get to net zero. To learn more about the actions identified at our October 2021 event, check out the 10x10 Outcomes Report: Energy and Transportation Days. These outcomes will feed into the final 10x10 that is produced after GLOBE Forum 2022.
Failure is not an option when it comes to climate change. Transforming our energy and transportation systems is key to achieving a net-zero future. The world has already started transitioning, disrupting energy markets and putting pressure on fossil fuel development. Adding to the pressure, the Government of Canada has legislated a net-zero emissions target for 2050.
Over two days, participants tackled the big questions: What is the pathway to carbon neutrality for energy and transportation in Canada? How can we ensure our country is competitive while undergoing system transformation? How do we scale clean solutions and innovation? How do we ensure the transition is just and that no one is left behind in the fight against climate change – including those whose jobs are put at risk by the transition to cleaner energy?
Topics included but were not limited to renewable energy, just and equitable transition, clean energy policies, low-carbon fuels, decarbonization, zero-emission pledges, zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs), and public transport.
